The district of Habo comprises 220 sq.m,with at stretch of 30 km along the south west beach of Lake Vättern. It is situated in the province of Västergötland, but belongs to the county of Jönköping.

Habo is in a very expensive phase. Houses are being built one after the other as families are queuing for attractive sites with a seaview to build their dream house on.

For tourists Habo is mostly known for its unique wooden church, Habo kyrka.

In Habo most things are on at small scale. A beautiful, natural environment is close at hand, to enjoy alone or with friends. There are unique possibilities to experience cultural activities, cycling, hiking, swiming, boating, fishing, picking beries or mushrooms. In addition, there are at number of magnificent golf courses nearby.

Do take time to visit Habo, which has everything from a lively centre, the forest, the countryside close by, wonderful swiming in Sweden's second largest lake, and nearby Jönköping if you wish to experience the pulse of a larger city.
